ATTORNEY GENERAL'S OFFICE,

I have examined the accompanying Ordinance, entitled "An Ordinance for raising the sum of £200,000 by Loan for the purpose of defraying the cost of certain Public Works."

and I am of opinion that the Ordinance is one which is not contrary to the Governor's Instructions.

I understand the passing of this Ordinance was sanctioned by the Right Honourable the Secretary of State for the Colonies.
